My name is Annika, I grew up in Austria and in 2014 I moved to Ibiza. I am a versatile movement enthusiast. My curiosity lead me through a big variety of sports and disciplines. From martial arts, gymnastics, parkour and freerunning, kettlebell and cross-training to animal movement and locomotion.
In 2006 while traveling through New Zealand I rediscovered my love for handstands. When I was a little girl I used to practice them with my sister and my grandfather. But I was never able to really find balance on my hands until I began to work on it more sincerely.
Yoga has been an important anchor since 2007. Although I was more confused and bored by my first experiences with Yoga, I didn’t give up and finally discovered Vinyasa Flow. Instead of confusion I felt so much love and peace within me after each class and since then it has become a big part of my life.
2014 – Hatha Yoga Teacher Training
2016 – Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher Training, influenced by Anusara Yoga with Suzanne Faith
Workshops with Bryan Kest (Power Yoga), Dice Iida Klein (handstands), Moritz Ulrich (adjustments), Yuval Ayalon (handstands).
Shiatsu and Massage
Rest and relaxation are equally important as it is to move. Having experienced the depth of relaxation through Shiatsu massage treatments and the effects it had on my whole life, I eventually knew this was something I wanted to pass on to others.
From 2010 – 2013 I studied Shiatsu at the Hara Shiatsu Institute in Vienna, Austria.
Part of the training was an intense 3 month internship with clients in Burn Out, Cupping, Heat therapy (Moxa) and Abdominal Massage (Ampuku).
In 2014 I did a Meridian Massage training course. Shortly after I moved to Ibiza and started my own business, Never Mind, Just Be.
In 2003 I attended a Coaching Camp for teenagers which was the most eye opening experience of my life. I started to understand that I am the only one responsible for what’s in my life and for what isn’t. I continued this path of growth and conscious living ever since.
From 2004 – 2007 I did the Future Coaching Training in Austria to become a life coach.
Personal growth, transformation, change, as uncomfortable as it can be at times, it is the only way to a fulfilled and happy life.
It means that you have to grab yourself by your ears, give yourself a kick in the ass and make the best of the short time we have on this planet.
